But who were the best acts from this episode? And did any move forward that shouldn’t have? Below we rank the eight acts who advanced from worst to best. Do any of Tuesday’s acts have what it takes to win the million dollars this year?

Season 19 Episode 6 Rankings:
8.Balloon Taro: I truly wish I could understand how or why someone learns to do this skill, but it proved to be memorable. How many balloons bursting is too many though? This audition went from bizarre to downright dangerous at the end, which was just icing on the cake for me. I think we might see them in the live rounds based on the reactions, but they probably have no shot at winning.
7. B. Thompson: I wish I could say that this audition blew my mind, but after Avery Dixon the bar is high for me. He sounded great but he needs something more for me to get super excited or view him as a contender. I did agree that he deserved to go through to the next round though.
6. Alex Sampson: From what might be the smallest town I have seen that hasn’t been shown on “American Idol,” this singer shook off his nerves and owned the “AGT” stage. In an odd way, he reminded me of Shawn Mendes and Joe Jonas in terms of vocal ability with the stage presence of Dion DiMucci. All in all, once those nerves are fully gone, he just might be a dark horse in the competition.
5. Super Silva Jr.: Do not try this at home! I was wowed by the Brazilian trapeze artist and danger act. Airing his audition mere minutes into the episode was a brilliant choice as he was a great palate cleanser for the act prior and electrified the crowd. Honestly, he would have received a Golden Buzzer if I were a judge. Simon complimenting his showmanship was just icing on the cake for an act that seems destined for the live rounds.

4. Espiritu: I follow Kenneth of Espiritu on TikTok and his energy is incredible! This group is pure joy to watch. One can just tell that they live to dance and are dedicated to their craft. From a school parking lot to the “AGT” stage, the routine was full of energy and well put together. The crowd loved them as much as the judges (except for Howie) did, but social media was the biggest fan of this act. I would love to see them use an even more popular song to attract more fans.
3. Reid Wilson: At first, I thought Reid was a cast member of “Welcome to Plathville,” which he was not. Thankfully, he turned out to be an amazing child singer that rocked a Lesley Gore classic. Howie was especially impressed giving him a Golden Buzzer, sending him straight to the live rounds. To quote Simon, “What a gutsy little kid.” He has a chance at winning this season if all the social media praise equates into votes.
2. Praveen Prajapat: This act was truly unexpected. How anyone would think of even doing tricks like this blows my mind but to quote Paraveen I was “super-duper” excited by the end of the act. He is a Vegas show waiting to happen and is downright fearless. This might be the most unique act of the season so far and I cannot wait to see more!
1. Helen the Foot Juggler: For an act that consists of juggling items with your feet, the most interesting part was learning that this is a skill taught in China. I was impressed, but simultaneously wondering “Is this something people would pay to see if it was just her or would she need other types of acts with her for it to be super interesting?” Personally, I could watch her all day and think she could become a major dark horse in the competition.
